Farewell from Mild Red

As of February 1, 2024, our Dunedin store and online presence will be closing for good. After more than 25 wonderful years at our home on 1 York Place, the founder, director, and designer Donna Tulloch has sold her cherished building in Dunedin's CBD and is embarking on a new chapter.

This space has been more than just a location; it’s where Donna’s designs came to life, where our team felt like family, and where we had the joy of connecting with our incredible customers. With nearly 40 years in the fashion industry, Donna is excited to spend more time with family and friends.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and wholesalers. Your support and friendship have meant the world to us, and you will always be a part of the Mild Red family.

This decision wasn’t made lightly. Over the past five years, we’ve gradually slowed our pace, focused on creating seasonal garments, and collaborated with talented local businesses. This journey has prepared us for what’s next.

We take pride in our commitment to New Zealand-made garments since 1995, always aiming to support local from day one. We’re stepping forward on a high note and looking ahead to new adventures—whatever they may be.
